Whilst many of you have already upgraded to the 2018 / 2019 taxonomies, it is clear that some are still using the 2014 version and as such have expressed concern with our intended withdrawal of this taxonomy from 1st April.
As a result, we have decided to delay the withdrawal of the 2014 taxonomy until Thursday 1st July.
We are aiming, where possible, to align our approach with HMRC in dealing with the withdrawal of old taxonomies.
We would strongly advise therefore that providers upgrade to the latest taxonomy version at their earliest opportunity however, as it is very likely that we will be more proactive in withdrawing older versions going forwards.
