Confirmation Statement: Shareholder Forenames

The Data Download schema says that multiple forenames may be received down from Companies House, i.e. xs:element minOccurs=“0” ref=“Forename” maxOccurs=“unbounded”.

However, the Confirmation Statement schema seems to say that only one Shareholder forename can be submitted, i.e. xs:element minOccurs=“0” ref=“Forename”

Isn’t this an inconsistency?

Please advise if multiple Shareholder forenames can be submitted in the Confirmation Statement.

For shareholders if there are multiple forenames they should be provided in the one forename element. The data read contains multiples because we still have some shareholders stored in this format so need to return the full information. If multiple forenames are returned in the data read they should be combined into one forename field for submission on the confirmation statement.
