We remind you that the 2018 taxonomy will be retired from Sunday 31 July 2022. From this date, we will reject submissions that use this version.
As previously advised, the XBRL FRC Taxonomies have now been updated. Companies House will be limiting submissions to the last three available taxonomies (2022,2021,2019) in line with FRC’s taxonomy guidance. The 2014 taxonomy has already been retired.
The 2022 taxonomy suite changes include updates to the UK Single Electronic Format (UKSEF) taxonomy to include directors’ and auditors’ reports. This has made the UKSEF taxonomy more interchangeable with other taxonomies in the suite and will facilitate the filing of consolidated accounts by listed companies.
We can also confirm that Welsh language taxonomies have now been enabled. This means that for the first time, companies can file Welsh language accounts digitally (via a software package).
