In the TIS we have noted that only one download of the certificate will be allowed. If further copies are required then a certified copy will need to be purchased.

Are we able to request the document multiple times, but the client will be charged after the first time, or can we only request the document once, and if the client requires subsequent copies they would contact Companies House directly?

Hi Paula,

You are correct in that XML will only allow one download of the incorporation certificate.

You can not request the document again, as the polling status will have changed at our end to reflect the fact that the document string has been delivered.

Applying for a Certified Copy is indeed the accepted way of requesting an additional copy.
