As you’ll be aware, as of 18 November, Companies House now require a personal code (UVID) to be supplied for each unique director and PSC appointment. This is in line with mandatory identity verification requirements brought in by the Economic Crime and Corporate Transparency (ECCT) Act.
We’re aware that during the transition to the use of new forms and digital schemas, some providers and their customers may have experienced technical difficulties when trying to submit filings through the Companies House gateway.
We’ve appreciated your patience while we’ve worked with providers to fix a small number of rules issues. We’re pleased to confirm that the majority of technical issues affecting form submissions have now been resolved.
We have already delivered a series of fixes to resolve some of the issues, and the following forms are now processing correctly:
IN01
CS01/LLCS01
AP01/LLAP01
We’re continuing to work on further fixes this week on the following:
VS01/LLVS01 - if possible, we’d advise users not to attempt to submit for 48 hours
PSC04-07 (and LLP equivalents) – users are now able to submit, but there are processing delays
We understand how important it is for your customers to meet their filing deadlines and we appreciate your collaboration and patience on these matters.
For any customers who have missed their filing deadline as a direct result of these technical issues, please advise them that there is no need to take any immediate action.
If they do receive a default letter, it will include instructions on how to make a representation for not filing an identity verification statement via an online form, where they will be able to cite these known issues and it will be handled accordingly.
Customers only need to make representations if they are overdue with their verification statement and will not be able to comply within the 28 days.
Thank you to those providers who have flagged issues with our teams and continue to provide feedback. We will provide further updates on the status of remaining fixes as soon as possible.
Thank you for your continued patience and support as we deliver these changes.
