Following the General Election on 12 December 2019, the Government is now beginning to implement the Prime Minister’s Withdrawal Agreement meaning the UK can leave the European Union on 31 January 2020.
Companies House will now stand down all “no deal” planning for 31 January 2020, and we will not be required to implement any changes to our systems, schemas, forms and guidance pages on that date.
We will continue to consider the impact any negotiated deal with the EU will have on Companies House, and also continue to monitor the Government’s negotiations with the EU as well as considering potential “no deal” impacts at the end of the implementation period.
