Request CAC using XML or API

Hi,

Other than using Companies House Web Filing Service, is there any way to request Company Authentication Code by using XML or API services?

Any info is appreciated and Thank you !!!

Good morning,

There is no other way of requesting a code - however, a company can advise a code (of their choice) when submitting their incorporation data by populating the relevant schema element.

Is this the Incorporation schema you were referring to?

  1. If yes, then I can’t find the relevant element to request CAC? Can you please point out the relevant element.

  2. Also could you please clarify, is this Incorporation Schema will be used for when user forget the CAC post incorporation?

    CompanyAuthenticationCode

  2. No, there is nothing enabled related to CAC in software post incorporation.
