Special character encoding in form submissions

Hi,

If I have a company name with a special character in it, like an apostrophe, such as O'Keefe Construction then how should we be submitting that special character? The schema specifies the hex code ' but would it also be acceptable to send the html code equivalent ' ?

XML uses several characters in special ways as part of its markup, in particular the less-than symbol (<), the greater-than symbol (>), the double quotation mark ("), the apostrophe ('), and the ampersand (&).
