At the Software Provider Forum on 24 June we advised about further updates Companies House was making to a number of schemas.
We had originally aimed to update them on 2 July, but due to an unforeseen delay, they were eventually updated on 15 July.
Also, whilst I we originally thought they would be updated as new versions, the version number has not been changed, as these are not live schemas, so do not require a new version number whilst in a ‘released’ status. Apologies if this has caused any confusion.
Updates made on 15 July 2025 are as follows:
(i) baseType-v3-7 to remove elements not needed for Autumn 2025

(ii) PSCBaseTypes-v1-4 to support abolition of register requirements needed for Autumn 2025
renaming of element to
new enumeration value called <AWAITING_CONFIRMATION_FROM_PSC>
update to documentation labels for other PSC statements that affect PSC08 and PSC09 transactions (and LLP equivalents)
(iii) update to documentation information in for PSC ‘trading on a market’ statements
this will not require a version change and will continue to be valid
